Lynx

Totally 58 lynx were killed or died of other reasons in 2004/05 - 12 more than in the previous hunting year. This development was due to an increased number of animals felled during the quota hunting and killed in traffic incidents. 43 of the lynx were felled under the quota hunting.

Wolverines

The total morality of wolverines was 50 animals, an increase of 11 animals from the previous hunting year. Totally, 22 wolverines were felled as noxious, an increase of 20 from the previous hunting year. . 20 animals were felled during the license hunting in 2004/05.

Wolf and bear

Totally, seven wolves were felled in the hunting year 2004/05. Permission was given to take out five wolves in the county of Hedmark, and all were felled. The registered mortality of bear was not more than one animal.

Birds of prey

Last hunting year 27 goshawks, 31 white-tailed eagles and 12 golden eagles were reported dead. In general, all reductions should be reported, but for various reasons this is not always done. Especially the data for birds of prey can be viewed as minimum numbers.
