NOK 60 billion in operating profit

The operating income for listed enterprises amounted to NOK 352 billion in the first quarter of 2008. The operating profit totalled NOK 60 billion. The resulting operating profit margin was 17.1 per cent, which was 1.9 percentage points lower than the first quarter of 2007, but 2.4 percentage points higher than the fourth quarter of 2007.
