Decrease in diesel prices

The total cost index for road goods transport decreased by 0.6 per cent from March to April 2016. Over the last 12 months the total costs have decreased by 0.9 per cent.

The fuel index decreased by 3.8 per cent during the last month. From April 2015 to April 2016 this sub-index decreased by 9.9 per cent. 

Increase in capital costs

The index for capital cost index increased by 1.0 per cent from March 2016 to April 2016. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has decreased by 0.2 per cent.

Increase in the tyre index

The tyre index increased by 0.6 per cent last month. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 4.0 per cent.
