Increase in diesel prices

The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 1.3 per cent from February to March 2016. Over the last 12 months the total costs have decreased by 0.1 per cent.

The fuel index increased by 8.3 per cent during the last month. From March 2015 to March 2016 this sub-index decreased by 4.9 per cent.

Decrease in capital costs

The index for capital costs decreased by 3.4 per cent from February 2016 to March 2016. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has decreased by 2.3 per cent.

Increase in the tyre index

The tyre index increased by 0.9 per cent last month. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 3.3 per cent.

Increase in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs increased by 0.5 per cent last month. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 3.8 per cent.
