Increase in total transport costs
The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 0.1 per cent from December 2014 to January 2015. Over the 12 months, the total costs have increased by 0.1 per cent.

The sub-index for ferry and road toll costs has increased by 1.9 per cent in the last month. Over the last 12 months, the sub-index for ferry and road toll costs has increased by 3.5 per cent.
Decrease in fuel prices
The fuel index decreased by 0.9 per cent during the last month. From January 2014 to January 2015 this sub-index decreased by 7.7 per cent.
Increase in capital costs
The index for capital costs increased by 0.7 per cent from December 2014 to January 2015. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 0.2 per cent.
Increase in insurance premiums
The insurance cost index increased by 0.7 per cent from December 2014 to January 2015. During the last 12 months this index has increased by 0.7 per cent.
Increase in repair and service costs
The sub-index for repair and service costs increased by 0.5 per cent last month. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 3.5 per cent.
Increase in administration costs
The administration costs increased by 0.4 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this sub-index has increased by 2.9 per cent.
