Decrease in diesel prices

The total cost index for road goods transport decreased by 0.8 per cent from August to September 2014. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 0.7 per cent.

The fuel index decreased by 1.5 per cent during the last month. From September 2013 to September 2014 this sub-index decreased by 2.8 per cent.

Decrease in capital costs

The index for capital costs decreased by 1.4 per cent from August to September 2014. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 1.0 per cent.

Decrease in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs decreased by 0.1 per cent last month. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 4.2 per cent.
