Increase in transport costs

The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 0.2 per cent from July to August 2014. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 1.6 per cent.

The index for capital costs increased by 0.6 per cent from July to August 2014. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 1.0 per cent.

Increase in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs increased by 0.3 per cent last month. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 4.7 per cent.

Increase in wage index

The wage index increased by 0.2 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this index has increased by 1.6 per cent.

Increase in fuel index

The fuel index increased by 0.1 per cent during the last month. From August 2013 to August 2014 this sub-index decreased by 0.2 per cent.

Decrease in administration costs

The administration costs decreased by 0.1 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this sub-index has increased by 2.2 per cent.
