No change in total transport costs

The total cost index for road goods transport was unchanged from May to June 2014. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 2.7 per cent.

The fuel index decreased by 1.3 per cent during the last month. From June 2013 to June 2014 this sub-index increased by 1.1 per cent.

Increase in capital costs

The index for capital costs increased by 0.9 per cent from May to June 2014. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 1.8 per cent.

Increase in administration costs

The administration costs increased by 0.6 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this sub-index has increased by 3.4 per cent.

Decrease in the tyre index

The tyre index increased by 0.4 per cent last month. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 6.0 per cent.

Increase in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs increased by 0.1 per cent last month. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 3.8 per cent.
