Increase in transport costs

The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 0.2 per cent from November to December 2013. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 4.2 per cent.

The index for capital costs increased by 0.8 per cent from November to December 2013. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 3.5 per cent.

Increase in insurance premiums

The insurance cost index increased by 0.6 per cent during the last month. During the last 12 months this index has decreased by 4.5 per cent.

Increase in fuel prices

The fuel index increased by 0.4 per cent during the last month. From December 2012 to December 2013 this sub-index increased by 3.5 per cent.

Increase in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs increased by 0.1 per cent last month. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 2.8 per cent.
