Increase in transport costs

The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 0.3 per cent from September to October 2013. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 4.2 per cent.

The index for capital costs increased by 1.6 per cent from September to October 2013. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 2.8 per cent.

Increased tyre index

The tyre index increased by 0.5 per cent last month. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has grown by 4.9 per cent.

Decrease in fuel prices

The fuel index decreased by 0.1 per cent during the last month. From October 2012 to October 2013 this sub-index increased by 1.7 per cent.

Decrease in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs decreased by 0.1 per cent last month. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 2.4 per cent.
