Increase in transport costs

The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 0.9 per cent from June to July 2013. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 3.6 per cent.

The fuel index increased by 3.4 per cent during the last month. From July 2012 to July 2013 this sub-index has increased by 4.3 per cent.

Increased tyre index

The tyre index increased by 3.5 per cent last month. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has grown by 3.0 per cent.

Increase in administration costs

The administration costs increased by 0.4 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this sub-index has increased by 3.6 per cent.

Decrease in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs decreased by 0.2 per cent from June to July 2013. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 3.6 per cent.

Increase in capital costs

The index for capital costs increased by 0.2 per cent from June to July 2013. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has decreased by 1.5 per cent.
