Increase in transport costs

The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 0.3 per cent from May to June 2013. Over the last 12 months the total costs have increased by 2.7 per cent.

The index for capital costs increased by 1.9 per cent from May to June 2013. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has decreased by 0.9 per cent.

Increase in administration costs

The administration costs decreased by 0.3 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this sub-index has increased by 3.3 per cent.

Increase in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs increased by 0.3 per cent from May to June 2013. In the last 12 months this sub-index has increased by 4.1 per cent.

Increase in fuel prices

The fuel index increased by 0.1 per cent during the last month. From May to June 2013 this sub-index has decreased by 0.1 per cent.

Glossary of fuel index

The fuel index is based on prices obtained from a selection of retailers located throughout Norway. Surveys show that the development in these prices is very similar to the development in the contract prices for fuel supplied by the major distributors.
