Decrease in diesel prices

The total cost index for road goods transport decreased by 0.7 per cent from March to April 2013. Over the last twelve months the total costs have increased by 1.1 per cent.

Cost index for road goods transport. Percentage change from the same month in the previous year

The fuel index decreased by 2.7 per cent during the last month. From April 2012 to April 2013 this sub-index decreased by 6.7 per cent.

Decrease in capital costs

The index for capital costs decreased by 1.1 per cent from March to April 2013. Over the last 12 months this sub-index has decreased by 1.9 per cent.

Increase in administration costs

The administration costs increased by 0.1 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this sub-index has increased by 3.8 per cent.

Decrease in repair and service costs

The sub-index for repair and service costs decreased by 0.1 per cent from March to April 2013. In the last 12 months this index has increased by 3.8 per cent.
