Increase in transport costs
The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 1.1 per cent from October 2010 to November 2010. Over the last twelve months the total costs have increased by 3.9 per cent.
The fuel index increased by 2.4 per cent during the last month. From November 2009 to November 2010 this sub-index has increased by 9.8 per cent.
Increase in insurance cost
The insurance cost index increased by 2.0 per cent from October 2010 to November 2010. During the last 12 months this index has increased by 5.7 per cent.
Increase in wage index
The wage index increased by 1.3 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this index has increased by 3.4 per cent.
Increase in administration costs
The administration costs increased by 0.9 per cent from October 2010 to November 2010. Over the last twelve months this sub-index has increased 2.6 per cent.
Decreased capital costs
From October 2010 to November 2010 the index for capital costs decreased by 0.4 per cent. Over the last twelve months, this index (which is composed of depreciation and amortisation, interest costs and annual fees) has decreased by 0.8 per cent.
About the fuel indexThe fuel index is based on prices obtained from a selection of retailers located throughout Norway. Surveys show that the development in these prices is very similar to the development in the contract prices for fuel supplied by the major distributors. |
