Cost index for road goods transport, Q3.666666666666666667 2008

The total cost index for road goods transport decreased by 0.6 per cent from October to November 2008. Over the last twelve months the total costs have increased by 5.1 per cent.

The tyre index increased by 2.2 per cent the last month. Over the last twelve months this sub-index grew by 6.4 per cent.

The wage index has increased by 1.4 per cent during the last month. Over the last twelve months this index increased by 3.2 per cent.

From October to November the index for capital costs increased by 0.7 per cent, mainly due to an increase in real interests rates. Over the last twelve months this index, which is composed by depreciation and amortization, interest costs and annual fees, has increased by 7.8 per cent.

The administration costs decreased by 0.4 per cent from October to November. Over the last twelve months this sub-index has increased by 1.6 per cent.
