The figures give an overview of which institutional sectors hold and issue the securities that are registered with VPS. The
value of quoted shares was NOK 2 091 billion at the end of the 4th quarter of 2016, an increase of 11.5 per cent compared
to the end of the previous quarter. The statistics also provide an overview of short-term and long-term debt securities issued
by Norwegian borrowers abroad.
