Increased employment in all counties

From the fourth quarter of 2005 to the fourth quarter of 2006, Rogaland had the highest increase in employed persons, up 6.1 per cent. For the country as a whole, the number of employed persons increased by 81 000 persons, or 3.5 per cent.

In addition to Rogaland, Hordaland and Sør-Trøndelag had the highest increase in employed persons, up 4.6 and 4.0 per cent respectively. Sogn og Fjordane had the smallest increase, at 1.1 per cent.
