Brief summary

Lasse Sandberg is a graduate economist from the University of Oslo and has been the Director of the Department of economic statistics since 2017. He has worked in Statistics Norway since 1988, apart from the period 2012 to 2016 when he was a national expert in Eurostat. From 2001 to 2008 Sandberg was the head of the Division for economic indicators, and until 2012 he was then head of the Division for price statistics. In 2016 he was the head of the Division for labour market statistics.
