Surge in crude oil prices

Norway's producer price index rose a total of 0.6 per cent from September to October, due mainly to higher prices for crude oil and refined oil products in international markets. From October last year to October this year (the 12-month growth rate) the producer price index climbed 3.7 per cent after rising 2.8 per cent in September.
