11 292 new enterprises

11 292 new enterprises were registered during the 3rd quarter of 2004. This is an increase of 1203 (12 per cent) compared with the same quarter in 2003. These figures include all enterprises, except agriculture, forestry and fishing and public administration.

Statistics from the Central Register of Establishments and Enterprises of Statistics Norway substantiate this development.
