Turnover more than NOK 400 billion

The turnover in retail sales was more than NOK 400 billion in 2011, which corresponds to growth of about NOK 13 billion or 3.4 per cent compared to 2010.

Retail trade, bimonthly. 2008-2011

The grocery stores had a turnover of NOK 141 billion in 2011; a growth of NOK 5.1 billion or 3.8 per cent compared to the same period in 2010. The grocery stores hold 35 per cent of the retail trade in Norway.

In total, retail stores had a turnover of NOK 77.8 billion in November and December 2011; a growth of NOK 2.1 billion or 2.7 per cent from the same period last year.  

Trade and repair of motor vehicles for more than NOK 190 billion

The total of sales and repair of motor vehicles was more than NOK 190 billion in 2011. This gives a growth above NOK 14 billion or 8 per cent compared to 2010. In November and December 2011, sales and repair of motor vehicles increased by NOK 2.3 billion, or 7.4 per cent compared to the same period in 2010.
