Norwegian lorries transported more

A total of 3.5 million tonnes of goods were transported by lorry to and from Norway in the 3rd quarter of 2013. Norwegian lorries had a share of 44 per cent of the goods transported, which is the highest share since 2010.

The Norwegian lorries transported 69.9 per cent of the goods out of Norway and 23.6 per cent to Norway.

Higher share for lorries from Poland

The Polish lorries’ share of the border transport went up from 5 per cent in the 3rd quarter of 2012 to 6.3 per cent in the same quarter of 2013.

The Baltic countries’ share of the border transport remained unchanged from the 3rd quarter of 2012 to the same quarter this year.
