From 2021 the new measure 2.6 Temporary homes in family and close network is included among the placement measures, and as a category of its own. From the year 2015 the following types of measures are included in the different categories: Placement measures are measures 1.1, 1.2, 1.99, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.99, 8.2. Child welfare institutions are measures 1.1, 1.2, 1.99. Foster homes are measures 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.99. Emergency shelter homes are measure 2.5. Housing with support (including home share) are measure 8.2. From 2021 the Child Welfare Services can continue measures until the age of 25 years. Earlier the upper age limit was 23 years. From 2021 there is a new placement measure called Temporary homes in family and close network.
