Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.
Navigating with keyboard and screenreader. Select multiple object in row: SHIFT+arrow down/up. To select a single value in the listbox: Windows:Hold Ctrl + arrow down. Then release Ctrl and press space. Repeat. Mac:CMD+arrow down/up. Then release CMD and press spacebar. Repeat. (Works only in Chrome, not in Safari). To exit listbox with values selected, press TAB-key.

Number of selected cells exceeds the maximum allowed 300 000
Occupancy rate(Statistics Norway) = bed-days/available bed-days. Shows the most actual occupancy rate. Is used for comparisons within Norway.
Occupancy rate(OECD) = bed-days/(beds* 365). Gives a lower occupancy rate than actual. Is used for international comparisons.
Leave days are included in the bed-days. This may give a higher occupancy rate than actual.
Private enterprises with government mandate are included in health region Sør-Øst and Vest.
Somatic units that not are hospitals are not included. From 2019 all somatic beds at health enterprises and private institutions with government mandate are classified as 'General hospitals'. In 2019 138 beds are reclassified as 'General hospitals'. The years 2015-2017 have been corrected at 2022/09/14. The errors were visible in the table from 2022/08/18 to 2022/09/12.
