2021: The area of contiguous holiday house areas are less then previous years, due to some changes in the method. Area for densely built-up aeas for 2020 are adjusted 21.3.2022. The numbers in table 2011 are not directly comparable with the numbers in later tables (from year 2013), on the grounds of a new basic data of holiday houses. 'New holiday houses' inlcude only new-built holiday houses, but not existing houses that were converted into holiday houses. The difference in number of holiday houses from year to year includes in addition to new-built houses also converted and demolished houses and can therefore not be compared with 'new holiday houses'. Number of holiday houses as of 1 january. The number of new holiday houses applies for the period 1. January to 31. Desember the same year. Outside holiday house areas: all other holiday houses, scattered or in groups of up to four holiday houses. Number of new holiday houses is based on the date of the building start permission.
