Electricity prices, Q4 2005

Including taxes and grid rent the total price was 78.1 øre/kWh in the fourth quarter 2005. The average price for the whole year was 74.8 øre/kWh, inclusive taxes and grid rent. Taxes amounted to 31.0 per cent of this total price, electric energy 35.7 per cent and grid rent 33.3 per cent.

The average price of electric energy for the whole year for the service industry was 24.0 øre/kWh, exclusive taxes and grid rent. This is 3.5 per cent lower than 2004.

For the manufacturing industry except energy-intensive manufacturing and the pulp and paper industry, the average price of electricity for the whole year was 22.3 øre/kWh. For energy-intensive manufacturing and the pulp and paper industry the average price of electric energy was 12.2 øre/kWh excluding taxes and grid rent.

The measuring period for the fourth quarter 2005 was week number 45 (7 November - 13 November).
