Including taxes and grid rent the price was 75.4 øre/kWh. This is 1.5 per cent higher than in the second quarter of 2004.

The average price of electric energy for the service industry was 25.7 øre/kWh in the second quarter, excluding taxes and grid rent. This is 16.8 per cent higher than in the first quarter this year and 9.9 per cent higher than in the second quarter of 2004.

For the manufacturing industry except energy-intensive manufacturing and the pulp and paper industry, the price of electricity was 23.1 øre/kWh in the second quarter. This is 7.6 per cent higher than in the first quarter this year and 2.7 per cent higher than in the second quarter of 2004. For energy-intensive manufacturing and the pulp and paper industry the average price of electric energy was 12.2 øre/kWh excluding taxes and grid rent.
