No change in sales in August 2018

Total sales of petroleum products in August amounted to 747 million liters, the same volume as in August 2017.

Sales of motor gasoline ended at 99 million litres, a decrease of 5 million liters as in August 2017. Sales of diesel amounted to 268 million litres, a 5 million litre increase, according to updated figures from Sales of petroleum products.

Total sales of petroleum products amounted to 8.5 billion litres in 2017. This equals a 2.2 per cent reduction or approximately 189 million litres compared to 2016. Both sales of auto diesel and gasoline decreased.
