As of 15 August, the quarterly wage index statistics will be discontinued and replaced by quarterly statistics on employment and wages. This means that the tables on this page will be discontinued. The StatBank tables in the old quarterly wage index statistics will be stored under ‘Discontinued time series’ in the new quarterly employment and wage statistics, but the figures will not be updated. The new statistics will cover more than the old ones, and will include more industries, part-time employees, and breakdowns by various characteristics of individuals and businesses.
