Preliminary figures for average basic salaries for full-time employees in wholesale and retail trade show a 1.0 per cent increase between the 4th quarter of 2014 and the 1st quarter of 2015. Corresponding figures for private education show a decrease of 0.1 per cent.

Preliminary figures for the wage index show a 0.1 per cent increase in average basic salaries for the last quarter in oil and gas extraction and mining, a 0.2 per cent increase in manufacturing and a 0.4 per cent increase for full-time employees in construction.
