Wages up 0.7 per cent in oil and gas extraction and mining

Preliminary figures for average basic salaries for full-time employees in oil and gas extraction and mining show a 0.7 per cent increase between the 2nd quarter of 2014 and the 3rd quarter of 2014. Equivalent figures for the third quarter of 2013 show an increase of 0.6 per cent.
