Full-time employees in arts, entertainment and recreation activities had average monthly earnings, excluding overtime pay, of NOK 39 600 as per 1 October 2014. This is a year-on-year increase of 2.9 per cent or NOK 1 100.

The statistics are based on information from a sample of enterprises in arts, entertainment and recreation activities covering a total of 9 007 full-time employees and 7 396 part-time employees. The total number of employees that forms the basis for weighting is 26 900 in arts, entertainment and recreation activities, according to the Norwegian Central Register of Enterprises and Establishments.
